This project aims to enhance the existing electronic health record (EHR) system used within a healthcare facility to make it more patient-centered and user-friendly. The project involves gathering feedback from patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to identify areas for improvement in the current EHR system. Based on this feedback, the project team will work to implement changes such as improving the user interface to make it easier for clinicians to input and retrieve patient information, incorporating patient portals to allow individuals to access their own medical records and communicate securely with their healthcare team, and integrating decision support tools to assist providers in delivering evidence-based care.
Additionally, the project will include training sessions for staff on how to effectively use the updated EHR system and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. The goal of the project is to optimize the EHR system to better meet the needs of both patients and healthcare providers, ultimately improving the quality and efficiency of care delivery.
